The Alangwa of Agbeyangi, Alhaji Aliyu Baba Oladaride I, has bestowed the prestigious chieftaincy title of Dan Male (Omoluabi) of Agbeyangi Land on Barrister Akeem Olanrewaju Jimoh, in recognition of his exemplary character and outstanding contributions to the development of the Agbeyangi community.
The conferment, carried out with the blessings and authority of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, honours Barrister Jimoh’s long-standing commitment to integrity, selfless service, and community advancement.

He was particularly commended for facilitating employment opportunities for numerous sons and daughters of Agbeyangi, as well as his support for human capital development and educational progress within the community.
The Dan Male (Omoluabi) title represents the highest ideals of honour, humility, and devotion to communal growth, values which Barrister Jimoh has consistently demonstrated through his personal and professional life.
The investiture and turbaning ceremony is scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Agbeyangi, Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The event will also feature the unveiling of the autobiography of the Alangwa of Agbeyangi, titled “35 Years on the Throne of Alangwa Forefathers,” and the celebration of his 106th birthday.
The Alangwa of Agbeyangi, the royal family, and the people of Agbeyangi have congratulated Barrister Akeem Olanrewaju Jimoh on the well-deserved honour and expressed confidence in his continued service to the community.
