The Chief Imam of Secretariat Muslim Community Central Mosque, Imam Tajudeen AbdulRaheem has enjoined the members of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council to be United.
He also urged them not to allow division among themselves, stressing that in a Union where there is no Unity, there won’t be any progress.
Iman Tajudeen gave this advise on Friday in his Juma’at sermon at the Special Thanksgiving Prayer Service of Ogun NUJ in commemoration of 2023 Press Week, adding that there is always disagreement in every Association but there is a need to accommodate one another.
While urging Nigerians to return to God and be prayerful, he expressed that those representing them are selfless people, who don’t care about the masses but only themselves.
According to Imam Tajudeen “My message to NUJ is to be United. We are all human being, it always happens to have issues within ourself because Ego always happen in the society/Association. And where we don’t understand ourselves, there will be division.
“Let’s us think well and turn back to God because Our House of Representative members and not really representing us well, they are just there for their own benefit not the masses. We are suffering but what they are after is buy new Private Cars that worth a Million.
