The Chairman of Dickalo Football Academy, Architect Olubunmi Dickalo has reacted to the rumour of a story published on Friday evening by one online newspaper platform “Owo Sports” that the Kwara FA suspended Dickalo.
Architect Olubunmi Dickalo said there’s a robust relationship between Dickalo FA, its Management and Kwara State Football Association.
Reacting to the report by the News Platform, stated that Dickalo was suspended aftermath the novelty match organised to celebrate one of the pride of Ilorin, the award winning, versatile coach of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria and the Technical Director of El-kanemi Warriors, Mall Aliu Zubair who won the CAF U20 WAFU B Tournament for Nigeria.
He said the plans were not behind the FA Chairman, Mall. Musa Idris. “He was the first person that I called to notify him of the novelty match to honour coach Zubair” I know there is more to this, he said, though the Executive Chairman of the FA said that he will not be available for the novelty match.
The Chairman of the Kwara State Sport Commission was in attendance to celebrate the coach.
He said the story was misleading and confusing.

Was Dickalo just suspended before the final played on Friday 29th November 2024 or After the match, as claimed by the platform that same day.
The Chairman of Dickalo Limited called for peace between Football Stakeholders in Kwara in order to save Football in the state, he said football is an integral element of peace in the society.
