The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) has lauded the senator representing Lagos West and Senate-elect for Ogun West senatorial district in the just concluded general elections, Sen. Adeola Olamilekan Yayi for his unprecedented giant stride.
This was revealed on Saturday in a release jointly signed by the Chairman of the group in Ogun state, Sunday Adebowale and the coordinator of the group in Ado-Odo/Ota, Bayo Ojo.
The group expressed their pleasure over the construction of one of the dead trap road in the local government by Sen. Yayi.
Recalling that on the 25th of February, the senator member representing Lagos West was elected again but now in Ogun West, which thus brings about the “West – West” mantra. The senator has on several occasions distinguished himself as a worthy and capable member of the Senator ,He has put into practice the ethics of democracy, the lineup of good governance and development.
According to the group “The sitting senator covering the jurisdiction of the western part of Lagos State who also doubles as the Chairman of, the Senate Committee on Finance has again set another laudable record in the development of the nation. The ever-working Senator has put an end to the long-time pain, distress, and inconvenience caused by the Ota – Itele Road and Mopol Junction – Itele in the Ado Odo, Ota LGA, Ogun State”.
“YCYW unanimously recognize, appreciate, and applaud the senator for this unprecedented giant stride,who is yet to be inaugurated in Ogun State but has spread its act of development tentacles to Ogun by facilitating the construction of a multi-million Road and Drainage Construction.
The Ogun State Chairman of the YCYW reiterates that this is the kind of leadership the citizens deserve and that other leaders should try to emulate the style of Sen. Solomon(Aremo) Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).
