The institute of global peace and conflict management (IGPCM) has inducted an Ace broadcaster and a peace advocate, Amb. Michael Oluwaseunfunmi Ogunleye to research fellow.
The induction took place over the weekend at the Annual Global Peace Convention held at African Hall, Barcelona Hotel, Wuse II Abuja with the THEME “Peace: Stabilizer Of Society, Catalyst For Development” which is a call to action for national unity and the global goals.

The institute, IGPCM is an affiliate of protestant University of West Africa, a nonprofit professional body registered in Nigeria, dedicated to providing innovative solutions to conflicts. Their mission is to promote grassroots conflict prevention, national cohesion, and peacebuilding through public education, advocacy, research, training, and collaboration.
The Key Objectives of the institute includes, Provision of peace education_ through training, community awareness, and advocacy programs; Enhance the role of women and youth_ in peace-building and peace promotion; Promote interfaith and religious tolerance, democratic values, and global best practices; Offer professional training and certification courses to enhance conflict handling skills and Resolve conflicts through mediation, dialogue, training, and arbitration.

IGPCM is accredited by the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD) and is affiliated with the Protestant University of West Africa, Port-Novo, Benin Republic. They’ve also collaborated with organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Mike Adenuga Foundation.
The highlight of the event includes Convention, Global Peace Icon Award, Fellowship Investiture and Induction of new members with a professional certification and conferment Award.

The event witnessed by the presence of the Presidency Philanthropists, researchers, High Commissioners, resource persons, Ooni of Ife and representatives from all works of life including the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Others are Expatriates, dignitaries, legal luminaries, professionals, universities representatives including ASUU and SSANU, NASU, DG IPCR and host of others.
