The Member representing Ewekoro State constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Amosun Olawale, has put smile on the faces of 300 members of his constituency with a cash gift of N10,000 each.
Amosun, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Education said that the cash gift is to cushion the effect of the prevailing economic challenges facing the country.
He added that having recognized the challenges posed by the rising cost of living, the cash gift becomes necessary to provide relief at these trying times.
“In our undivided commitment to serving and uplifting the welfare of our dear constituents, we are pleased to announce a special initiative aimed at alleviating the burden of the rising cost of living.
“Recognizing the challenges posed by the current economic climate, we have initiated a cash gift program to support 300 constituents across the 10 wards of Ewekoro, as each selected constituent will receive a cash gift of N10,000, intended to provide relief and assistance during these trying times.
“So far, the first tranche has been concluded where 100 constituents from across the 10 wards of Ewekoro State Constituency.
“Please be reminded that the selection process for the disbursement was done with utmost fairness and transparency, ensuring that those most in need are duly recognized across the board and supported irrespective of political affiliation.
“This gesture is proof of our dedication to your well-being and prosperity”, he said
The lawmaker stressed that as representative of the people, it is important to be sensitive with the tides in order to ameliorate the suffering of the people at the grassroot.
“As representatives entrusted with the mandate to serve, we remain steadfast in our resolve to continually work toward the betterment of our beloved constituency.
“Together, let us continue to forge ahead with resilience and unity, as we navigate through challenges and strive towards a brighter future for Ewekoro Constituency”, he added
