The Ogun state chapter of Freelance and Independent Broadcaster’s Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) has made a courtesy visit to one of the notable Radio stations in the state, Sweet Fm and presented a certificate of recognition to the management of the station.
The caretaker committee and some members of the Association made the courtesy visit on Monday 3rd of June, 2023 to the station Premises, Abiola-way, Abeokuta, the state capital.
In his remark, the state chairman of the Association, Comr. Aderoju Adejare said, the major reason for the visit is to strengthens the relationship and synergy between the Association and the station, also to make clarification on some salient issues regarding FIBAN and the station.
Comr. Aderoju, while appreciating the management of Sweet fm, acknowledged the support of the station to the members of the Association who have programs on the Station as well as members’ participation on popular Newspaper review in the station :Ajimuna’ and ‘Ayekoto’.
He also persuaded the station to give out more slots for his members on the Two programmes and extend it to those that have good content.
Reacting, the General Manager of the station, Elder Eddy Aina appreciated the Association for the visit and applauded the members for portraying professionalism in their presentations.
He however, promised to uphold the relationship and open more doors for the members who have good content to have their programs on the station.
He also advised the Association to always be distinct and concise while presenting programmes.
The highlight of the event is the presentation of certificate of recognition to the station for their support to the Association.
