The leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun state Council has Constituted Three different Ad hoc committees for special Assignments.
This was known in a letter signed by the Chairman of the Union, Comrade, Olanrewaju Adewale and secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun on Tuesday in Abeokuta the state capital.
The committee members were appointed after they were nominated and approved by the leaders of the Union.
One of the committees is Reconciliation Committee led by Comrade Doyin Jibowo as Chairman; Comrade Funmilayo Opatola, member; Comrade Yinka Odeyinka, member; Comrade Akintola Adeyemi, member; Comrade Seyi Oladimaji, member; Comrade James Sowole, member; Comrade Toyin Oluwa, secretary.
Other committee is 2023 NUJ Political Debate Committee led by Comrade Biodun Alabi as chairman; Comrade Biodun Adeyemi, member; Comrade Biodun Ogundipe, member; Comrade Akeem Adegbenro, member; Comrade Kola Sodeinde, member; Comrade Kemi Orunsolu, member; Comrade Sina Oduntan, member; Comrade Abiodun Lawal, member; Comrade Yemisi Onanuga, Secretary.
Inauguration/ Unity party Committee led by Comrade Rasaq Ayinla as Chairman; Comrade Adeniyi Adeloye, member; Comrade Sekinat Salam-Opebiyi, member; Comrade Morenikeji Sobaloju, member; Comrade Omolola Okpeku, member; Comrade Itunu Yewande, member; Comrade Olaisi Olayemi, member; Comrade Folake Ade-Adeniji, member; Comrade Bunmi Adigun, member; Comrade Olayinka Ezema, secretary.
It was gathered that, the members of the three committees shall be sworn-in on Thursday 29th December, 2022 at the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe-Iroyin House, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta by 10:00am prompt.
The Union however, urged the members of the each committee to be diligently to the new beginning and fresh start mindset as the Union counts on their quality and brilliant contribution towards the success of their respective. committees.
