Revd. Fola Achudume Was A Mentor, Pillars Of Strength – Abiodun

 

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has described late Revd. (Mrs.) Fola Achudume as a spiritual leader, mentor, pillar of strength and relentless advocate for a better society.

Governor Abiodun made this known during a Special Church Service in celebration of the life and times of the late Revd. Fola Achudume, at Victory  Life Cathedral, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta.

The Governor, who was represented by his deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, added that the deceased had a profound impact through her ministry and humanitarian efforts, where she served as a role model to the youth and women in particular, stressing that her life would continue to inspire people.

While praying that God comforts her husband, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, children, family and loved ones, the governor reassured that his government would continue to stand with the family in honouring her memory and celebrating the life of a truly remarkable woman of God

Also speaking,  Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, said the deceased had lived a life of impact and great achievements, thanking God for giving  her the grace to fulfill her purpose in life.

While acknowledging the significant role the deceased played during his electioneering period, he pledged a continued support to the Achudumes, praying that God continue to uphold, strengthen and console her family.

On her part, Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, extolled the virtues of late Revd. (Mrs.) Achudume by positively impacting many lives while alive, acknowledging that she was a soldier of Christ, a woman of substance and relationship expert, who has lived an exemplary life through her ministry and prayed that God grants her eternal rest.

Remarking, wife of  former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Martha Emmanuel, commiserated with the husband, children and families of the deceased, describing Late Rev. Fola as an amazon of Christ, a leader, great woman, full of love and care.

Taking his sermon from Psalm 116 vs 16,  President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Dr. Isa Abuba, admonished true believers to be consoled by the fact that anyone who died in Christ inherits eternal life.

He expressed optimism that late Fola Achudume was in heaven rejoicing, charging Christians to emulate Christ, obey His commandments and live an exemplary lifestyle.
