Gov Dapo Abiodun has reemphasised that his administration remains committed to delivering on his Promise of Infrastructural development in Ota and its environs.
The Governor who made made this known during the year 2025 Annual Odun omo Iganmode day celebration held in Ota, added that major projects such as Government Housing Estate, the Atan-Igbesa-Agbara as well as the Lagos-Ibadan expressway road reconstruction was ongoing and in an advanced stage.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele at the 2025 Iganmode day, stressed that within the remaining period of his administration, legacy project will be in place in the area, noting that he is deeply appreciative of the continued support for his Governor by the people of Ota.
Abiodun while Congratulating the Olota of Ota, HRM Oba (Prof) AbdulKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, on the Successful hosting of the Iganmode day 2025, said he is glad that the event was depoliticized and wholly centered on families, unity, shared identity whilst showcasing cultural creativity admist strong kingship as well as ethnic ties.

He informed that he is looking forward to more participation from the sons and daughters of Ota land, in the years ahead, asking them to continue to stand together and work collectively for growth and Progress of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
In his remarks , the Senator Representing Ogun West, Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, noted that the festival has improved over the years, showcasing the unique heritage of Ota and Aworiland, congratulating the Olota of Ota for his exemplary leadership and his strive towards promoting the socio cultural heritage of the land, while also commending the developmental strides of Prince Dapo Abiodun led government in the state, saying it was one being done with a view to bringing socio economic development as well as improved the personal prosperity to its citizens.
Also speaking former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, said for Aworiland to be more developed, all hands must be on deck to ensure this, adding that Ota and it environs is the industrial capital of Ogun and in extension Nigeria, urging sons and daughters of Ota to continue to support the Olota of Ota in order to bring more development to area.
Earlier, the Olota of Ota, HRM, Oba (Prof.) Abdulkabir Obalanlege, congratulated all sons and daughters of Ota Awori on the year 2025 Odun omo iganmode celebration, saying over the years, the festival has continued to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Ota as well as helping to unite its sons and daughters home and abroad, while imploring them to be more united and prioritise, the growth of Ota and Aworiland.
