The Eminent Gents International Club has on Thursday 22nd of December, 2022, donated cash to the aged and vulnerable people in Ayetoro community in celebration of Christmas and New Year.
The donation took place at the Palace of Alaye of Ayetoro in Ayetoro, Yewa North, Ogun state, Nigeria.
The Vice-president of the Club, Eminent Bola Onifade, having introduced fellow members; Eminent Oyesanya Olatunji, Eminent Adedeji Abiodun, Jayesimi Ademuyiwa and Biodun Banjoko, to the respected monarch, commended the senior citizens for their moral support towards the development of the community.
He highlighted the aims and objectives of the Club where he made it to known to aged that the Club is non political and nongovernmental Organization which is established to continue on the path of bettering the lives of the older ones and the needy in the society.
The Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Azeez Adelakun thanked members of Eminent Club for their kind gestures to the underprivileged in Ayetoro, saying that Ayetoro community can only ask for more.
In his address, the Baale of Joga, Chief Solomon Akinlotan appreciated EGCI for their humanitarian to the people of Ayetoro.
He made it clear to the people of Ayetoro that, Eminent Gents International Club is not a profit oriented club, rather it’s concern, based mainly on sustainability, is to make the festive season a joyful occasion for all.
Present at the event are the Council of Baales, the Chiefains as well as stakeholders.
